Both indoor ranges have 50-foot, climate-controlled lanes and free parking. Walk-in range time is first-come, first-served. Class schedules are separate from public range hours.

In-person Ohio CCW
For students who want classroom learning and supervised range instruction together in person.
Start CCW classroom study online
Study the classroom portion at your own pace. Separate in-person training and assessments are still required; online study alone does not complete the full certification path.
Beginner firearms safety
New to handguns or looking for a safety refresher? Start with Basic Handgun instruction. This is a different course from CCW.

Climate-Controlled Lanes
Norton has 6 indoor lanes and Brunswick has 8. All lanes are fully enclosed and climate-controlled year-round. Comfortable to shoot in any Ohio weather.
50-Foot Target Distance
Standard 50-foot lanes accommodate pistols, revolvers, and most rifle calibers. Adjustable target positions available.
Firearm Rentals
Don't own one or want to try something new? We have rental firearms available at both locations. Ammo available on-site.

First-time shooter or seasoned competitor — our staff is trained to assist new shooters and get out of the way of experienced ones.
Walk-Ins Welcome
Open range time is first-come, first-served. Walk in during business hours and get on a lane. Members get added range access benefits.

Safety is non-negotiable at Range 42. Every shooter — first-timer or veteran — follows the same rules on the range. Our staff enforces them without exception.

Treat every firearm as if it is loaded at all times.

Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.

Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.

Know your target and what is beyond it.

Eye and ear protection are required on the range at all times.

Firearms must be unloaded and cased when entering and exiting the range.
